Draft Environmental
Impact Statement
The Columbia River Crossing project has analyzed the potential environmental
and community effects of five alternatives under consideration to meet the
project’s goals identified in the
Statement of Purpose and Need. The results of the analyses are described in
the Draft
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
We need your input.
Public Comment Period: May 2 – July 1, 2008
The Draft EIS will help the public and decision-makers make comparisons
between the alternatives. After the comment period ends,
project sponsors will consider the Draft EIS and public feedback to decide
which alternative to build. Comments on the CRC project are welcomed at any
time. Those received during the public comment period will be responded to in
the Final EIS, expected to be published
in 2009.
