Hayden Island Public Meeting
June 29, 2010
Project Sponsors Council co-chairs invite public testimony
Members of the
Portland Working Group invited Hayden Island residents,
businesses and other interested people to learn about the latest interchange design concepts for Hayden Island on June 29, 2010.
A similar public meeting was held earlier in June. The concepts were revised after the first June meeting.
Project Sponsors Council co-chairs Henry Hewitt and Steve Horenstein heard public testimony on the current concepts for access to Hayden Island.
In spring 2010, the PSC asked a group of Hayden Island stakeholders, the City of Portland, Metro and CRC staff to evaluate additional access concepts for Hayden Island.
The public was invited to learn and share feedback on the latest on- and off-island interchange designs.
Comments received will help inform PSC members as they consider proposals for the Hayden Island interchange this summer.
Comments may be submitted verbally or in writing at the meeting or
online.
