Listening Sessions
on Tolling
To talk about tolling choices and traffic management
The CRC project is a critical bridge, transit and highway
project for the Portland-Vancouver region that will increase
safety and mobility, keeping goods and the economy moving.
Funding for the project will come from federal and state
sources and from tolls. The project is also looking at tolling
as a way to help manage congestion. Several options are being
studied in order to understand benefits, consequences and tradeoffs
associated with tolling.
More information on tolling can be found on the CRC
Tolling Study Web site.
June 30 and July 1, 2009 Listening Sessions
The CRC Tolling Study Committee hosted listening sessions to provide information,
answer questions and learn residents' thoughts on tolling choices. Information was
presented on tolling technology, traffic effects and funding.
Comments can be submitted
online at any time. Input will be compiled and presented to the
Oregon and Washington legislatures in January 2010.
